WWW = websites, HTML, JavaScript, etc - stuff that web browsers deal with and what you're seeing right here

Internet = email, games, torrenting, Skype, etc AND the WWW

The Internet connects the world. The WWW uses that connection to make it easier to share and find information with the help of links, text-entry and upload forms, cookies, etc.
