Who votes for what is public record. This streamlines it so you can be lazy. Now people who have no idea what's going on in politics will have more access to data they don't know what to do with and will use it for their own purposes.

Needless to say, the Tea Party will love it.

Jim, Justice Kennedy has been criticized for providing a majority opinion that does not address the legal principles of Equal Protection, but rather spoke in loftier terms about the strength of the relationships and countering the arguments about "traditional marriage." Assuming you were ecstatic just about the overall outcome of the case, do you have any personal concerns that the majority opinion was not more legalistic? Was it personnally satisfying in its current form?

Foreign citizens are not allowed to influence domestic politics with monetary donations. Was intended to keep elections from being controlled by singularly powerful outside forces that do not have the U.S.A.'s best interest at heart.
