what is the situation there like currently?... how much of the population actually wants to join Russia and how many wants to remain in Ukraine?..

yeah, any answer will most likely be based on his/her perception ,I doubt they have any kind of statistical data..I may be wrong, although I really want to discuss the larger issue of propaganda on this issue,it makes it very difficult to know what's really going on on ground.
