Regardless of anyone's opinion on the matter, due to terrorist attacks, Israeli medical personnel have developed extremely sophisticated disaster response teams.

They share as needed. They were significant presence in 2004 tsunami and Haiti earthquake, as well.

Also, should be noted, Israeli backpackers are a huge thing in Asia. In fact, Nepal is host to world's largest passover seder, each year, because of these backpackers. So Israel does have an interest there.
