I support regulating healthcare costs and universal healthcare, but I am also a non-physician healthcare provider (audiologist) who works in a non-profit hospital setting. My reimbursements from Medicare keep decreasing and do not sustain business, and private insurers use the Medicare fee schedule to set theirs. How can we provide lower cost healthcare while sustaining healthcare providers such as myself?
