XKeyscore doesn't have to be a problematic program by itself. If the NSA would get a warrant from an open court to use it on a suspect, it wouldn't be an issue. It's also less of a constitutional issue if they use it on foreign nationals on foreign soil. That's not how it's done though, and the NSA relies on other dragnet programs to more effectively use XKeyscore which is a problem.

It was a very important intervention politically in the US in the post USSR world.
Clinton's administration was able to prove that US air power was extremely effective at stopping Soviet era armor and their mechanized tactics using limited ground reconnaissance allied with local ground troops, and that the US didn't need to maintain the cost of cold war era ground forces itself. A similar test was given in Kuwait/ Iraq, but military hawks said that conflict didn't count because Iraqi's armor tactics were inferior to Soviet era doctrine.
It was unimportant politically as humanitarian crisis in the US because the people and countries were relatively unknown and unrelated to the US population.

I'm only guessing, but it's possible the company is registered in a p.o. box out of the US, hosted online overseas, but runs sales operations in and for the US to thwart drug import regulators. Still scketchy tho.

Halos are a risk at any age. I got them from a surgery in my mid thirties. They're far less a bother than my old vision and corrective eyewear.

Don't fixate on one aspect of a larger problem you are witnessing. Wolves only account for a small part of the total pressure on some game species.
