Your story is the nightmare for every cyclist, and I'm glad you're okay! A few years ago my buddy had the same kind of accident whilst being out on a training ride with me, and the doctors said he would probably be paralyzed for the rest of his life. He kept fighting and training, and the process was very slow but 3 years after the accident he rode the "Marmotte" (Famous cyclo in the french alps, you should google it). So keep training and maybe you'll be able to start racing!
