Why did they take your gallbladder out? Couldn't they just keep the gallbladder?

What if they take only 50%? Since your right lobe is 65%, would that right lobe regenerate and then you still get to have two lobes once you've healed? (I read in your post elsewhere that when the right lobe is removed, the left lobe regenerates and takes up the empty space.)

Why couldn't you just donate the part of your liver that would allow you to keep your gallbladder? Like maybe 40% instead of 65%? Was that not an option at all?

Will you get back your gallbladder back?
