If I understand it correctly, the ACA law states that preventive/wellness services must be covered 100%. And I definitely consider birth control "preventive".

As someone who's career is selling health insurance (mostly individual, and yes, I'm FFM certified and sell insurance via the Marketplace) and seeing now how some carriers are unable to pay (or pay very little) commission to their agents due to various ACA provisions, what advice can you give me? Just to give you an example, in my county in Ohio, Anthem BCBS is the ONLY carrier offering plans to individuals. They don't pay commission on SEP's and only pay $14 pmpm for new business. Just tryin' to live the American dream, man. I can't help but think that having a MOOP, mandating certain services be covered (like transgender procedures), etc. are reasons carriers can't afford to pay their agents. Do I need to find a new job??

Yes! $695/person OR 2.5% of your annual income, whichever is higher. But you can go without coverage for 3 months and not pay a penalty, and then you only pay a penalty for the months you didn't have coverage. So if you are uninsured January - July, you only pay a penalty for 4 months. Trump has not yet changed this.

Do you get to chat or mingle with the judges before or after filming, or is judging the only time you actually get to interact with them?
