Corey, over the years you have been my favorite musician of all time, from your work in Slipknot, Stone Sour, and even Audacious P. Your musical style, and the pure emotion you put into your music have always hit me real hard, and when shit goes wrong in my life, your music is usually my first choice to help keep me calm. On top of that you seem like a truly down to earth guy who hasn't lost his head from being famous. My buddy attested to that when he played Knotfest last year in San Bernardino on the smallest stage and said he saw you there off to the side showing approval, which is really cool because a lot of the big bands don't take the time to check out the little guys so much, let alone show that you're actually atleast somewhat into the music. I can't wait to see you and all the rest of Slipknot live in august with Lamb of God on long island, and ofcourse knotfest is going to be a blast. I would just like to thank you and let you know that your music has made an honest difference in my life. So now my question to you is how do you like touring with Jay on the drums? When I saw you live at Knotfest last year it seemed like there was good chemistry at the least, I was wondering how it is behind the stage seeing as how he's so young compared to the rest of the band, especially with him growing up on your music, like so many of your fans have.

Always good to hear a success story from someone like yourself. I've seen so many Marines get out and do nothing with themselves and it's heart breaking. I hope you know you're the kind of Marine we all aspire to be. If you're ever around pendleton I'm sure there's a bunch of us who would love to meet you and hear your story. So my question is what is the biggest piece of advice you could give somebody whose about to get out and have to start over?

That's awesome cuz that was kind of my plan. My 5 years have not been nearly as eventful as yours. All I've done thus far is sit on Camp Pendleton and fix helicopters. I don't have any real stories or experiences to tell so being a Marine is not really a huge part of my identity so I've never been the kind of guy who covers his shit in stickers and talks about the service all the time. The only real experience I'll miss is being able to walk out to The smoke pit and have some beers with the boys on any given moment. Thanks for your answer, and I truly hope you do great things in life.

I first off would like to thank you so much for what you did. I know it wasn't easy cleaning up that mess, I have a lot of family who was there, some in the towers, some on the ground during the day, and some cleaning up afterwards. My uncle Jimmy was on clean up for a very long time afterwards, and he passed away around 4 years ago of Pancreatic Cancer which we are positive stemmed from the clean up. I wish you all the best of luck in your future and truly hope you can make it out of this. The people who volunteered put so much at risk and are getting no rewards. Again, thank you.
