May I ask why you get multiple scopes per year?

I was diagnosed with CD at beginning of 2017, had partial colectomy in 2020, and total proctolectomy in 2021. I'm expecting a scope now maybe once a year tops, but probably less, unless something pops up like cancer or my ileum/small intestine gets diseased. I think I still have my ileum...?
