How did the judge allow that to continue after so much expert testimony that your ex was lying? Also, how did the jury justify your conviction? That's nuts! I'm sorry this happened to you.

That is ridiculous! Did you overhear a reason as to why the judge wouldn't go against the prosecutor? Isn't the prosecutor supposed to worry about the judge's opinion of them and their public image, not the other way around?

Even though many Republican electorates dislike Trump, do they feel that splintering the vote of votes between Trump and a second Republican candidate on principle worth that possibly giving the election to Hillary? I am not a Trump supporter, I voted third party, but would rather have him in office than Hillary. Is there enough support for a second Republican candidate to secure a conservative presidency?

Under no circumstances should the drill be a surprise to anyone involved. Period.

Good call. Doing one of these as a surprise is a good way to get the simulated attacker/terrorist shot.

I like this idea. My big problem is how would it be implemented? Many making under that amount end up with functionally no tax burden anyways by way of their tax returns. Not taking it out at the beginning would help many, many people.

Also, with regards to your comment about proof that you aren't dangerous to own firearms, doesn't proof of innocence fly in the face of due process for a constitutionally protected right? Who would determine what constitutes as proof and how would you like to implement the system without universal registration or using secret lists like the no fly list? Would you be willing to push for removing SBRs or suppressors from the NFA as a compromise with the knowledge that only 2 NFA items have been used in the commission of a crime in the last 76 years? If so, why not?
