Try to think of them differently. Think of them as being aimed at closet atheists, not the very religious. SO many atheists keep to themselves, and fake a religious lifestyle because they don't have any support. If that billboard helps just a handful of people to realize there ARE others, that they CAN be openly non-religious then good!
