Can you help us understand why the impulse to gamble (take big risks to possibly win big money) is so powerful, yet losses are felt about 3 times as intensely as gains? We seem both risk-averse and risk-attracted.

That makes intuitive sense, but where did that impulse come from evolutionarily? I mean, before money, what were we gambling small on and creating habits?

Interesting information which I have seen before. The tone is angry, not academic. It’s hard to ride with a conspiracy theorist for very long, even if they’re right.
