I loved this book. I just want to say thanks. I grew up poor and didn't understand until I was older what my parents had to go through just to provide for three kids. This book really brought to light the hardships of poverty and how hard getting out of it is. My parents are separated now, but my dad has to live with my brother and still has a full time job just to stay ahead. Unfortunately, even with a college education I'm having a hard time staying above the poverty line.

That's pretty amazing. Considering how many doctors I've worked for and they all do it, knowing that it's unfair. Especially for those they see with insurance and with out. Not to mention that it's insurance fraud. You might want to do something on that. Now that is something I would be interested in reading. I've worked all aspects of health care from collections to insurance to direct patient care and our system is totally and utterly corrupt. But, many people are unaware of the many loop holes. If they just actually read their policies.

Since you're a doctor, how many "kickbacks" have you given other doctors?
