In-case they don't have time to answer this but I remember them answering this on a past live-stream. The main point being that they really want to do this but there is "licensing" issues and technicalities preventing them from easily doing so.

Have you considered doing a "Desert Bus Zero" which would be similar DB1 in order to return to a more simpler time?
