"Entitled assholes"? I don't think you understand what you're saying.

When someone has an unfair sense of entitlement, that generally means they think they are owed things they are not due to either being naive, or just plain arrogant.

But when you hand over money for a service you enter a contractual agreement. The person selling the service then has a responsibility to fulfil it. I guarantee that if you paid 'X' amount of $$$ for an x-ray on, say, a broken arm, you wouldn't be an "entitled asshole" for expecting to get the fucking x-ray done.

This guy has planned, got excited about and paid for a holiday, and a series of errors completely out of his control but entirely under the control of AA occurred fucking it all up. I can't think of a more perfect example of where someone is actually entitled to being refunded.
