That's actually a misconception, there are treatments for some personality disorders. For example, DBT with BPD.

Too often people label personality disorders as untreatable, when in reality (many) they are stubborn, pervasive, and persistent, but not untreatable.

Therapist here- very few modern therapists use hypnosis. Of all the professionals I know- I can't think of a single one who is trained in hypnosis.

That being said- hypnosis wouldn't make a straight person gay. It wouldn't even make a heterosexual engage in homosexual acts unless they wanted to. People have this idea that hypnosis makes people mind slaves- but really all it does is lower (but not totally eliminate) inhibitions. Granted it makes people more suggestible and much more relaxed but a hypnotized person wouldn't do anything they wouldn't already want to do.

I can easily imagine US insurance companies calling it elective

Do you have a specific theoretical approach you utilize?

Yeah, that's bullshit. This isn't some "pissing contest" or establishing "prestige" this is just straight-up cheating. The reason for plagiarism rules and policies is to protect the effort and work of the people who actually do the effort and the work from people who just take advantage of others' work.

TAs are PhD students who often (typically) have advanced knowledge of the subject- sufficient enough to teach basic courses to undergraduate students. In fact, as PhD students it is part of their training.

Why shouldn't students outsource to essay writers? Because it is CHEATING. They are paying someone else to do their work, and then taking the credit for it.
