Peter, where do you get your news?

If you could go back in time ten years, what would you do differently? Would you make the Zeitgeist films and create the movement the same way?

Do you acknowledge any flaws in the RBE?

Yes, I actually understood that and agree with you, so I was asking what should the society do if someone decides to be greedy anyway, for whatever reason. Even if it only happens very rarely and even if it's an anomaly. Maybe they just have a mental illness and there's not much the RBE could have done to prevent it.

Thanks for the answer. I understand the RBE better now; not as a specific plan, but as a collection of abstract principles.

I do have a followup question. When I tell my friends about the RBE, the most common critique I hear is "but how will the society handle deviants, or those who harm others with malicious intent? (This could be due to mental illness.)"

Forcing those deviants to live under certain conditions would necessitate some sort of authority to make that determination. With that kind of power, a figure of authority could use his/her power for selfish reasons, thus hurting the society.

So I guess my question is, wouldn't power over other people, even if it's just a little, ultimately lead to corruption? And if you think no one should have power over another, how should this hypothetical situation be handled ideally?
