I needed the second one after the first. I had no idea it was even possible to beat someone to death with a spatula handle.

Thats....impressively cruel.

I actually wanted to know the same thing. On a side note, since you're recovering, I'm assuming you're watching a fair amount of movies. Do you have a different response to horror/thriller films than you did before?

Also, those are some badass staples!

Hmmm. I can certainly understand not wanting annoying noises around. I had a family member have brain surgery a couple years back, and the recovery did not look fun (from an outsider's perspective).

Because the amygdala regulates more emotions than just a fear response, I wonder if any of your reaction is caused by the disruption in your neural networks. Of course, you might just be crazy stressed, because it's the holidays, your family, and you just had effing brain surgery.

Anyways, hope it all evens out and you feel better soon. How long is the clinic going to keep you? Were you given any interesting post-op instructions, like mental exercises?

Noice. It's on my to-see list, too. I'm just turning a blind eye to various spoilers.

Glad there's a good outlook on your future mental set. That's really encouraging. :)

P.S. Hope the nausea/headaches don't stick around too long. I'm assuming you're being pumped full of painkillers and antiemetics?

Hahaaa, miralax. All those wonderful opioids.

Yeah, you should definitely share your coloring when you can. It seems like a great way to occupy your mind while you heal up.
