Can you help me understand how black holes can radiate away their mass through Hawking radiation? How is the mass/ energy leaving the gravity well of a black hole.

It is said that Hawking radiation is a result of quantum field interactions near the event horizon, but this doesn’t translate for me intuitively.

That explains why they may not contact us directly but I see two problems:

1 that solution is not exclusive, there are people on our own planet who talk to the deer and forrest animals for reasons of delusion or that they simply can. All it takes is one out of billions of possible aliens to do it simply because they can and there’s contact.

2 it doesn’t explain why we don’t see the evidence of those civilizations, especially type 3. If alien civilizations are truly harnessing galaxies of stars for power, wouldn’t we see the infrared and gravitational signature of a galaxy of obscured stars behind Dyson swarms?

Do you think strange stars could be stable and viable in the real world? Could strange matter be a dark matter solution? Could strange matter indeed collide with normal matter and convert it to strange matter as Kurzgesagt’s recent Strange Stars video suggests? Are there any hypothetical super dense forms of matter beyond strange matter that could survive in the gap between strange stars and black holes?
