I just tell myself that "the Queen" was simply another Borg adaptation, a way to interact with humans. She was as much a part of the collective as any drone and that there was really no Borg leader.

At least that's what I tell myself, because an actual Borg "Queen" is fucking lame.

Fellow sufferer here. I'm curious how this affects bringing girls home. How do they react? How do you bring it up? (I was in a relationship when I was diagnosed, and am still in that relationship so I never experienced single life with the machine).
