Interesting fact that you may not know: Indian television does not follow the concept of seasons. The shows run all year long and most shows air brand new episodes 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year! Starting in early 2000s, many shows have run for 5-6 years. One of the longest running shows TMKOC started in 2008 and has aired ~2920 episodes to date. That's >4x the number os Simpson's episodes in 2.5x fewer years!

Perhaps a more fiction-oriented question -- it is often said that planet xyz can support life "as we know it". Are there active investigations into finding life we don't know (but can hypothesize) about? Say a life form which is Germanium based and breathes Selenium.
