is that not including the time to age the whiskey? I thought bourbon had to be aged a minimum of 3 years?

Typically books are destroyed by booksellers and sometimes even by libraries. It has something to do with people reselling books, and the publishers would rather have them destroyed rather than donated, it's actually really sad. They typically rip off the cover of the book, and there will be a sign of some sort saying possession of a book with a missing cover is theft.
