This may seem like a weird question, but are you finding your diabetes more difficult to control due to the steroids? Also, were your doctors concerned about your post-op healing/recovery due to having diabetes?

I hope your taper goes smoothly. I have a friend who had a liver transplant a little over a year ago, and he went from being an emancipated young guy that looked like he might drop over dead, to looking (and feeling) like a normal, healthy 30 year old.
