Snowed in is the wrong description. The southern states are ill-equipped to handle snow storms, so long story short ZERO salt or gravel was put on roadways to help with snow. Add gridlock traffic to the scenario and the heat from the cars melted the snow and created frozen SLICK ice that covered everything. Unless you have chains, must people have no idea how to drive on this and in many situations are completely unable to drive in this regardless of experience. Stranded drivers/pedestrians had no option but to seek shelter and lots of school kids had to stay put (even overnight) in schools. Scary situation.

Thanks for answering and yes, that totally makes sense! I think what you did during the snow storm was really awesome and it got a lot of news coverage where I live (Atlanta). Children's musicians are really quite special. I couldn't imagine my childhood without Raffi and other artists from the 80's and early 90's. Keep up the good work and awesome entertainment!

What made you make the decision to become a children's musician when the popular choice is usually to be a 'rockstar' or 'popstar'?
