Here's mine: I was in college and had just gotten back to my apartment after class. I had 3 roommates at the time and all of them were gone, so I decided to enjoy my alone time in the living room. I grabbed a handful of chips from the kitchen, and leaned over the couch to get the remote, when all of a sudden my kneecap completely popped out of place, causing me to fling myself over the couch and throw the chips EVERYWHERE. I just lay there for 5 minutes in a pained daze, just praying that none of my roommates would walk in to find me half on the couch, half on the floor, covered in broken tortilla chips. It was so incredibly painful, but at least I can laugh about it!

I have EDS too! I feel like all EDS'ers have at least one ridiculous subluxation/dislocation story. What's yours?

Oh man that is rough. Knee injuries are no joke! I wrote my experience below...not my worst injury by far, but it was uh, rather surprising! The surprise dislocations are one of my least favorite parts of having EDS, and it's hard for others to relate to.

LOL, I dislocated my right collarbone while reaching for a soda at a gas station, so I feel her pain.
