As a female CS major in college, I notice that many other females (and males as well) lack confidence in their coding abilities due to not having had exposure to the area in high school. Starting small, I would love to help introduce CS courses into local high school curriculums. So my question is: what initiatives can we take to help kick start a CS program at our local high schools?

Agreed, Paris is just sublime! There's so much culture and history in each layer: below ground (les catas), ground-level (speaks for itself), and above-ground (rooftopping.)

The Parisian police seem more relaxed. My friend and I were stopped by the police as we were scaling the Panthéon and they wrote up a report but didn't press charges. There happened to be a lot of police in the area that night because the French president was apparently visiting the Panthéon the next morning---whoops.

I did a lot of UE while studying abroad in Paris and I think my host family was secretly flabbergasted as to why a girl who left the house wearing a flowery skirt and blouse would return at 5AM with muddy boots and dirt stains everywhere...

(By the way Bradley, thanks for sharing your explorations through your stories and research!)
