No mention of first-person perspective on the Kickstarter page ! Am I correct to assume it's so obvious it wasn't worth mentioning ?

How do you cope with your legendary renown ? :)

My guess is that means the same swordplay than Thief(1998) ( or even Dying Light recently ) : when aiming at the left of the enemy, the sword swings from right to left and the other way around. And I hope it doesn't mean a "Die By The Sword" type swordfight ;)
