I just did a conversion from a Boeing to Bus. I found that although the Bus is advertised to be quite a "computerized" machine... the automation is at times just stupid and dumb. (ie: descent speeds in the FM is locked after you start your descent... and the FM will not change it's calculations despite you changing all the modes)

What are some of the biggest hurdles that people transitioning from bus to real airplanes have to overcome?

As a Canadian, I always wondered how the medical system worked south of the border.

May be stupid questions but hey it doesn't hurt to ask I guess.

  1. Say for a Doctor's visit, do you guys pay the "cashier" after, or before seeing the doctor? and is this a fixed cost or an hourly kind of ordeal like a lawyer?

  2. Say you need a lifesaving procedure, like a transplant of sorts, or chemotherapy but could not afford it. Would you be denied treatment outright at the hospital or would there be a mercy system in place that would allow you to receive treatment?

  3. Whenever I go to the states (seattle) I see all sorts of ads on TV for hospitals and such... which is extremely foreign to me. So do different hospitals have different prices? do you have to go shopping around like you do buying a TV for the best price?

TIA
