I posted this on the other thread but i'll post it here because I don't want it lost in the downpour of comments. I don't know if this has been said already, but i'll say it anyway. My good friend was a nurse and he studied the effects of music on the level of pain during procedures, specifically bone marrow harvesting (since it is one of the most painful). He said that patients who listened to their favorite music several minutes before and during the procedure experienced SIGNIFICANTLY less pain, almost as much as 50% less. I'm not sure if its true but hes a very smart man and if there is anyway to help a wonderful person like you i'm all for it. Please at least give this a shot!
