Did you visit Chicago, or anywhere in Illinois? If so, how was it? Living near Chicago, I've always thought that people who have never traveled to the Midwest would just see it as boring cornfields (which a lot of it is).

How would you recommend learning how to play such a complex game?

Baseball is the best! Though most foreigners find it boring lol. And yes it's freezing all winter and now it's in the 90's

I do at times also, it just depends on what's happening at the game I guess. To really love the sport you gotta sit through the boring to get to the exciting parts.
