I guess that's the advantage of being a freelancer/working with an organization like VICE. Your interpretation isn't necessarily being shaped by an editor and a corporate media structure. Do you think you'd ever work for a 'mainstream' media outlet or do you think that would bring in more 'impurities'?

You've said elsewhere in this thread that journalism should deliver an 'untainted data set'. That's interesting. Tainted by what? And how do you ensure your data is untainted?

From what you've seen are the disparate movements (environmentalist, leftist, young urbanites of no particular ideology, anarchists etc etc) that were attracted to the Taksim protest beginning to coalesce into a broader movement for social change? Or is it too soon to tell?
