Yes, I've found that quite strange as well. In Dunkirk I assumed it was intentional to maximize the feeling of confusion and helplessness the soldiers felt, but then when I rewatched Interstellar and then saw the same in Tenet, I began to wonder what was going on.

Me too. I rewatched all the Nolan films prior to Tenet coming out, and I was just awed by how good The Prestige is, even now, knowing all the twists in advance.

I echo this. The ending was perfect. I'm not even sure how you could hate the ending and have survived the show up to that point.

I remember being so intrigued by sunstones whenever I read The Seventh Tower books. It was one of those things I imagined myself doing, the way people daydream about having The Force or casting spells with a wand. What were some inspirations for that power, or for any of the magic in the Seventh Tower series (spirit shadows, that cool board game, etc.)?
