What are your thoughts on the western world paying reparations for the conquering and pillaging that went on?
Linked to that, are you in favour of radically redistributing wealth to poorer countries and within individual societies themselves?
Are you optimistic about the way the world is heading and what do you think are the biggest problems facing the world?
On a personal note, I am a recent graduate who has done three internships at charities and thought they all wasted massive amounts of resources and were ineffective. It has put me off working in the sector and I am considering earning to give in the building trade. Do you think that I was just unlucky and should persist with charity work? I guess its hard to say without knowing the the circumstances.
