I'm a coda as well, 24. It still freaks me the hell out when I have to go somewhere with my parent's and they talk while driving. I learned in an asl class I took in college that the way talking and driving works is the passenger will sign, and watch the road at the same time. That way if there is anything that the driver needs to look at he/she will instantly be able to tell because of the body language of the passenger.
