This sounds less like a need for an all female unit and more like a need to better train all of the personel to get along with the community better.

Killing is already illegal, and most crimes in which a gun is involved the gun was illegal procured. So if 2 laws are already broken to commit a violent crime, more laws are not going to make things better. Benjamin Franklin said "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." There will always be guns in society, and by limiting the average citizens ability to defend themselves only more violence will be created.
What I, as a high school senior, believe would be more effective measures in preventing gun violence, specifically in schools, is not more restrictions on every day citizens but rather better mental health screening and aid for troubled individuals, better cooperation between departments to make sure people who are not fit to posses firearms get flagged so they fail the background check to purchase them, and members of a schools staff who are deemed mentally capable to be armed. Police take, on average, 11 minutes to respond and have less knowledge of what is going on than those already at the scene. These steps would help prevent violent crime in and out of schools while still respecting and protecting the rights of average citizens.

So do you already implement that 26 dollar minimum wage? Or can your small business not afford that?

Why do you feel more gun control will improve things and make schools safer, when it is already illegal to take a firearm onto school campuses and murder? And how do you feel about the fact that cities such as Chicago and Detroit, who have a lot of gun control, have more gun violence than areas without a lot od gun restrictions?
