Dan is the man. Here's one: how does Affirmative Action play a role in admissions?

Hi, I'd like to chime in as a student who was just accepted ED 1. I come from a below-average financial situation (third poorest county in the US), and the package I got from Tufts this past month has shown me that Tufts seems to be extremely dedicated to removing monetary obstacles ie. I got a really good package. I was weary of ED for fear of not receiving a good aid package, but rest assured Tufts has my (and yours and everyone's) back.

I know this is supposed to be focused on Admissions, but you said we could ask you ANYTHING, so here is a question that I've been wondering:

I love Tufts. I applied ED because I knew that it was for me, and I wouldn't trade it for any university in the world. With that being said, it bothers me that it's such a great university but it is not super-duper high in rankings. Why isn't Tufts ranked higher?

What did you want to do when you were growing up? Was lobbying what you knew you wanted to do from a young age?
