Do you mark or celebrate your liberation day in any way?

I'm so sorry for your loss. You didn't "used to have a brother", you have a brother but he's gone now. The wording just struck me. I believe you'll see him again someday. Also you have no reason to be ashamed. From someone on the outside of your situation I can say your grandmother should be ashamed but I just feel so sad for you.

I am also very interested in his thoughts on this.
