Acupuncture is actually based on an entirely different view of the body, in relation to points on the shiatsu meridians that correspond to different organs and bodily systems. If you have a blockage/overflow in a point or meridian, there are different things you can do, such as acupuncture, massage, dietary alterations and supplements, that will balance it out. Bear in mind that sometimes these points aren't in the spot that bothers you(for example, most of your heart meridian goes down your arm) so you might be a little confused on the procedures, but if you ask your acupuncturist about it, they should be willing to explain why they're doing what they're doing, or at least recommend a book that will explain it better than they can.

There are lots of very reputable acupuncturists, I used to work for one who had studied in both Korea and the US, so she was super knowledgeable and able to explain the Eastern-medicine terms in a way that made sense to those of us familiar with Western medicine. Anyone licensed by NCCAOM has a pretty rigorous standard to uphold.

Why is it so much easier for someone to open a fraudulent account than it is to dispute and close a fraudulent account opened with your information? wouldn't it be more efficient to get the identity verification out of the way first and prevent issues down the line?
