As a glasses wearer, I think it depends on the person - I've definitely had sales assistants tell me that a pair doesn't look good on me. I have a small face and usually end up needing glasses from the teenage range, which are typically cheaper, and I've never had a problem with anyone pretending that adult glasses were suitable for me. (Of course, if they say it looks good, you also have to trust their judgement - I'm less trusting of advice if I don't like the way the assistant's glasses look on them!)

Assuming the missing word is "buses" and not "cars", do local buses where you live normally have seatbelts? In the UK, we're pretty keen on seatbelts but local buses would never have them, only longer-distance buses and coaches.

Someone I knew donated a kidney - she was off work for about a month, I think, then had to come back to work gradually because she got tired very easily at first. She also had some problems with pain control after the op, though I think that's going to be quite person-specific (and also probably depends on your doctors!)

Is there an exact route you're told to take, that most efficiently covers all streets without having to drive the same streets twice?

From what I remember of the decision maths I studied at school, this is actually a really difficult computing problem and there usually isn't an obvious way to plot such a path. (It's sometimes known as the Chinese Postman problem and is likely to be NP-complete for normal towns.)
