Have you seen "The Martian" and if so, what did you think of it?

I can understand where criticism for the FDA passing the Bt protein to the EPA. In simple terms, it's still a pesticide. That would fall under the responsibility of the EPA since proliferation of use through years could lead to "superbugs" immune to it and other detrimental affects.

I'm not extremely well versed on if the EPA did a bad job in regulating Bt proteins, but I would hypothesize that both the EPA and FDA should've developed a co-op and conclude that it was safe or unsafe for human consumption AND growth on farms.

That seems like a very cushy day off.
