Hey guys! Huge fan. I saw you at your Farewell Tour, and it was incredible.

From what I understand, you guys weren't too happy with the release of TAITA, because it was edited for a more commercial sound. I'd love to hear the album as you originally intended it to be. My question: Would you ever consider remastering TAITA and releasing it with the mix that you had envisioned? I would pay good money for that.

Very interesting point, Dustin. I would love to see it re-branded as a separate piece, as to not re-write history.

The Fall of Troy just released a new album, OK. A few weeks later, they released OK #2, which was mixed in a way similar to their earlier albums. Much of /r/posthardcore prefers their re-release, but to each their own! Regardless, I think all of the fans were happy to have two versions.

Reddit wants this! Let's make it happen? :)

Thanks for the reply Ed! I would love to hear what it would be like. I'd imagine that it would be tricky with Island. I hear people on Reddit talk about "what could have been" with TAITA, so I think the customers would be there.

Do you think it would have been closer to Vheissu's sound?

That could be awesome. I have both the House of Blues and Anthology albums. I appreciate being able to hear new songs translate live as well as older songs re-worked by the Thrice-of-today. The evolution of the band has been incredible from album to album, and new music is solid.

I think some people have complained about the new album for having a more "radio rock" sound. But despite a more approachable sound, there is still the same depth and quality in song-writing. ¿Por qué no los dos?
