Microbiologist here. I've heard this suggested many times, but don't believe it's ever really been studied. Toxoplasma is actually a lot more common than people think due to our close relationship with cats. I'm curious what came first though, our attraction to cats purely based on our choice, or if our initial attraction was based on us being infected by toxoplasma. It's a very interesting thought.

Also, toxoplasma doesn't necessarily take away their fear of cats, but their aversion to the smell of cat urine, which leaves them more vulnerable to be preyed upon.

Do you think any of these emoluments violations, or using their position as president to advertise for their other business ventures (clothing, Mar-a-lago, book) will turn into anything, or will it continue to be ignored like Kushner's ties to Russia and Soros?

Just want to say as a fellow microbiologist thanks for helping to get people excited about microbiology. I feel like it would be a more popular topic if people knew how incredibly interesting it was.

I said this in another response, but the latent infection of Toxo isn't deleterious to fetuses from what I've read, but the active infection. So there's a decent chance she's already been infected and fought it off, but it's still in her body. Microbes man, they scary.
