Partner of a sex worker here.

In a relationship where the truth is out, it is difficult at times, but in my experience gets way easier over time. In summary once you get over the initial shock and inhibitions, the benefits usually outweigh the negatives.

Also, based on purely anecdotal evidence, a large number of sex workers do not disclose what they do (or the extent of what they do - i.e. say they're a topless waitress or something) to their partners.

Money is the big one, primarily, but there is a lot of flexibility with the work and shifts, etc. too - if she needs to take time off or only work a couple of shifts a week, it's literally just a phone call or a text - there aren't many industries (especially where you can earn a 6 figure income at a young age) that give you this kind of security. It's important for me to mention that her work is legal here - I may look at things entirely differently if she was at risk every time she went to work.

Other stuff is particular to her - she does not have much family, so being able to support herself with literally no safety net provides a great deal of independence.

It is also a HUGE learning experience about the ways of the world - some might say that's a negative rather than a positive, though I guess.

Also - there are some pretty fun parties at times with the circle of friends you tend to have :)

To summarise - not really. Thanks to the laws here (which is one reason I strongly feel sex work should be legal or at least decriminalised) there's pretty good protection in place. Nothing is perfect of course but your average sex worker here is far less at risk of these things than a young adult with a typical appetite engaging in sexual activities. Note: guys get turned away all the time because of apparent symptoms (every booking requires a visual inspection). As I said this is not perfect but how many times do you think your average one night stand puts their partner's genitals under a bright light for close scrutiny before beginning?
