Do you know if this is a permissible decision from corporate (after the food safety concerns) or a manager/owner deviating from mandatory supply chain to try to better the quality?

I know the owner of two Tilted Kilt stores, and he deviates from supply chain on a few food items (and they ARE light years better than what other stores serve), but does so at the risk of losing his franchise if caught. Just curious what your situation is.

What inspired you to create such a unique novelty account in the first place?

No, I think it's pretty clear he means Saddam's invasion of Kuwait.

I've only been a redditor for a short while...although I've been a lurker for 4 years or so. In that time, I've seen lots of "clever" novelty accounts but really nothing I felt was particularly special. This was the exception for me.

As an aside, I didn't DV you because I think your question is perfectly valid (and why I thought I should respond). I think you DID get DVs though, because saying "I hate to be a total bitch here, but..." is pretty much the same as when people say "with all due respect..." and following it with an insult. It implies that you know you shouldn't say what follows, but say it anyway.

They've got well over 2000 stores worldwide. I have no clue how many are corporate-owned vs franchised, but saying they don't have "many" seems incorrect. That said, yes it is a risk. Do you get your franchise pulled? Admonished? Something in between? I don't know.
