Are you sure? I thought the Lion air aircraft had experienced similar issues on it's previous flight?

Edit: I now see the other previous Lion Air flights were ruled out of the initial question so the reply was phrased with that in mind.

Still curious how the news room ruled it out, is there a public database of such incidents? thanks!

Do you remember your feelings leading up to being captured? Were you captured as a part of a group or individually? How long before you were captured did you realize things were not going well? Did you have any idea how poorly you would be treated in captivity?
