i am currently going to school to be a social worker. ultimately, do you feel as though your social worker was helpful?

thank you for answering! i have really been debating on whether or not to go into child welfare. i do know that a huge problem within our profession is that people are often hired without degrees, which is often to blame for the terrible experiences. im sorry you had such an awful experience with someone who was supposed to be helping you, but it makes me happy to know that in the end a social worker was able to have a positive role in your life.
