The semi truck in front of the passenger car acts as a big wind screen and smashes most of the air pressure in front of your smaller car. It is extremely effective (some claim 30-50% improvement in gas mileage). However it is dangerous, and the effectiveness increases/decreases depending on proximity. Basically, it's great for the passenger car but it's nerve-wracking for the truck driver as you're largely out of theit sight directly behind their trailers.

Recently threatened to arrest a Latina city council member for vandalism --she didn't commit-- but the best part was the classic "I'm going to show the evidence" but of course he never does. He just got re-elected basically unopposed. His "opponent" didn't campaign and barely had a website.
