I'm not sure how though! My girlfriend worked as a case manager (and eventually supervisor) for a DCF contractor. I have never met a more under thanked group of people than the men and women she worked with. All of them tirelessly looking out for the best interest of children, but even their good decisions seem to be frowned upon by the media half the time.

You all put up with way more stress than people in most jobs and I haven't ever met someone in that line of work that I felt was fairly compensated for what they do.

Thank you for doing what you do. The world can't have enough people like you in it.

Hi! thanks for doing this AMA. As a programmer with a love and interest for doing tools, my question is about the file format that WoD is using soon. Since the CASC format has been announced, I've been pretty intrigued by what it can do, and how it differs from the Mo’PaQ system that's been used for so long. I've worked at a AAA title producing studio on the content pipeline team, and thus fell in love with working on things similar to CASC, as well as maintaining CI and the sort.

I suppose I have two questions:

1.) What's your favorite and least favorite part about CASC, or it's abilities?

2.) Any chance us normal folk will get our hands on anything else besides that teaser of the CASC format? Tools, source, file descriptions or the sort? (As far as I know, everything community sourced has been reverse engineered so far. I'd love to see something from the mothership!)

Thanks again for taking the time to answer some questions!
